When it comes to inspiration related to child development I
feel that this quote makes you look at the big picture of teaching the whole
child. Every child learns differently,
so as educators we have to make sure that lesson plans are modified to reach
all learns. When it comes to child development we have make sure we are
focusing on each area to allow to
student to understand, explore, and discovery new things around them.

ReplyDeleteI have not seen this quote before, but it most certainly is a powerful one! I would even add to it that children unwrap their packages in different ways. It is incredibly important as early childhood educators to remember to look at each child as an individual, no matter if it is the first day of school, or the last, and that each child approaches activities in their own way. It is in our hands to support and guide them, and to make sure that they are provided with the opportunities to participate in these activities in the ways that they are capable of.
